Low-cost spay and neuter by appointment, Monday to Thursday. Packages include a rabies shot and microchip: cat spay $115, cat neuter $104, dogs from $132. Takes dogs and cats 3 to 70 lbs. Ask about free or discounted surgery.
Anyone can book a regular appointment. Free or discounted surgery is for owned pets (no fosters, strays or ferals) of owners 18 or older who show proof of eligibility, while funding lasts.
Book online or call (210) 673-7722 and leave a voicemail. A $25 deposit is needed. Drop off at 7:05am for dogs, 8am for cats; after 8:45am you'll be rescheduled. Up to 5 walk-in spots a day, feral cats first; arrive by 8am. For free or discounted surgery, apply by form, phone or in person (11am to 3pm); online bookings don't count.

Bring a rabies certificate or vet record; a tag isn't enough. Dogs on a leash, cats in a carrier, feral cats in a trap. Cancel by email (brooksclinic@snapus.org) by 7am the day before, or you lose your deposit and must prepay to rebook. Drop-off can take over an hour.

Grants of up to $1,000 toward emergency vet care for low-income pet owners in Bexar and nearby counties. You pay 10% of the bill plus anything over $1,000. Apply before treatment, with your vet's estimate.
