Take SAFCC's free TNR class, then get outdoor cats spayed or neutered, vaccinated and ear-tipped for $25 at partner clinics. Bexar County residents only. Most partner clinics take walk-ins.
For Bexar County residents who have taken SAFCC's free TNR class. At Spay Neuter Network, only City of San Antonio residents qualify.
Take the free TNR class first (sign up on SAFCC's website). Then bring cats to a partner clinic on its drop-off day. No appointment needed except at Hill Country Animal League (call or text 830-249-2341).
Animal Defense League: Mon, Wed, Fri, drop off 8 to 8:30am. San Antonio Humane Society: Mon to Fri, 7am. SNAP Ingram and SNAP Brooks: Mon to Thu, 7:30 to 8:30am. Spay Neuter Network: Tue to Fri, 9 to 9:30am. Hill Country Animal League (Boerne): Mon to Thu, 7:30 to 8:30am.

Low-cost shots, heartworm tests and flea and heartworm meds, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, by appointment. Rabies shot is $17. You pay a $16.50 deposit when you book. They don't treat sick pets.
Low-cost private clinic · 2907 W Ave, San Antonio
Low-cost vet for check-ups, shots and common problems like itchy skin, urinary issues, heartworm and parvo. Exams are $45. Open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, by appointment.
Assistance program · San Antonio
Grants of up to $1,000 toward emergency vet care for low-income pet owners in Bexar and nearby counties. You pay 10% of the bill plus anything over $1,000. Apply before treatment, with your vet's estimate.
