Free spay or neuter for dogs and cats on a mobile clinic that visits Austin parks and rec centers. Austin and Travis County residents only. No appointment: line up at 6am, first come, first served, and spots run out.
Only for pets of people who live in the City of Austin or Travis County. Not for rescue groups or shelters.
No appointment. For surgery, arrive by 6am and put your name on the list with Emancipet staff. Surgery spots are first come, first served and not guaranteed. Other care is walk-in during clinic hours.
Several days a month at rotating sites. Surgery sign-in 6am to 8am; pick up by 5pm (you get a text). Other pet care about 8 or 9am to 2 or 3pm. For dogs, cats.
No food after midnight the night before surgery; water is fine. Dogs on leash, each cat in its own carrier. Bring your pet's records, water, and shade for the wait. Keep flat-faced breeds in an air-conditioned car until called. Clinics may close early on very hot days.
