The POPS mobile surgery truck does spay and neuter at Bayou Animal Services on some Wednesdays. Cats cost $70; dogs start at $90 to neuter and $110 to spay. Call to book; $25 deposit.
Pets must be at least 12 weeks old. Shots must be current from a licensed vet, not a feed store, or your pet can get them on surgery day. Pets 7 and older need bloodwork a week before.
Call (713) 738-3131 to make an appointment, Monday to Friday, 8am to noon and 1pm to 5pm. A $25 deposit is needed and is not refunded.
