Houston PetSet Spay & Neuter Program

Who can use it

Right now this program is only open to Harris County Precinct 3 residents. You must be 18 or older with valid ID, and can bring up to two pets a year.

• Harris County Precinct 3 residents only under the current schedule
• Owner must be 18+ with valid photo ID
• Pet must be 4 months to 6 years old, at least 4 lbs; dogs under 80 lbs
• Flat-faced breeds (pugs, English and French bulldogs, Boston terriers), Persian cats, and Dobermans can't be accepted
• Limit of 2 pets per owner per year
• Not for rescue, foster, stray, or TNR animals

How to get in

Sign up online starting 8am Sunday through Wednesday for an appointment about a week out. Drop off at 7am; pick up between 10am and 1pm.

When

Mobile clinic visits scheduled Harris County Precinct 3 sites; new appointment slots release online Sunday-Wednesday at 8am for the following week.

Rotating mobile clinic sites; currently limited to Harris County Precinct 3 (through September per the current schedule)

What it costs

Good to know

Bring your ID and the exact pet you registered — bringing a different animal forfeits your deposit and bars you from future appointments. Don't feed your pet after 11pm the night before surgery, and submit medical records ahead of time. Missing your appointment or canceling within 24 hours also forfeits the fee.
